The Puly Blindy is a 58mm blind filter basket designed for backflushing compatible espresso machines. It is deep, durable and made to create strong pressure during the cleaning cycle.
Designed for Backflushing
The Puly Blindy is used with Puly Caff Powder to clean the group head and internal parts of an espresso machine. Inside the basket is a marked guide line, helping you measure the correct amount of cleaning powder. The recommended amount is 3g of Puly Caff Powder per backflush.
This basket is suitable for many commercial espresso machines, including brands such as Expobar, Faema, Gaggia and Iberital. It does not fit San Marco or La Spaziale models.
Domestic Use
The Puly Blindy can also be used with some domestic espresso machines that are suitable for backflushing, such as the Gaggia Classic and Rancilio Silvia.
Regular backflushing helps remove coffee oils, tannins and residue that build up inside the machine. This supports cleaner espresso, better flavour and more consistent machine performance.
How Often to Backflush
A quick daily backflush with clean water can help keep the machine fresh and heat the internal parts before use. For a deeper clean, backflush weekly with Puly Caff Powder, following the machine manufacturer’s instructions.
